An installer and homeowner favourite, oil boilers are not only energy efficient but known for their quality and reliability. Our range of market leading domestic oil boilers are simple to install and maintain technology - from internal to external, wall hung, system and combi options. What more could you want?

A frequently asked question is, how long do oil boilers last? Oil boilers are generally highly durable, especially with a corrosion-resistant, stainless steel heat exchanger and (on average) last between 12 and 18 years. Keeping the boiler well maintained and serviced will increase the boilers lifetime. Grant oil boilers also offer an extendable warranty as proof of their lifespan.

How often should I be servicing my oil boiler? If the boiler operates on kerosene, the most common heating oil in the UK, the service should be every 12 months. However, those operating on biofuel should be serviced every 6 months. Servicing not only prolongs lifespan but it ensures that the boiler is operating safely and efficiently.

Quality does come at a cost. Grant boilers are placed at the higher end of the scale however, high energy efficiency combined with durability does make the higher price bracket worthwhile.

Energy efficiency is certainly worth investing in. The turbulator baffle system of oil boilers helps to further lower energy bills. The system extracts the latent heat usually lost through the flue to be recycled back into the system again increasing efficiency.

Having a heating system that ensures sustained water pressure throughout the household shouldn't be a luxury. An oil heating system ensures a reliable and consistent water pressure, despite showers or taps being used at the same time.
