All panels are available in treated timber for longer life.

Q: What sizes do your fence panels come in?

A: Our panels are 6ft (1.83m) wide as standard, and come in heights including:

• 3ft (0.91m).

• 4ft (1.22m).

• 5ft (1.52m).

• 6ft (1.83m).

You can combine your fence panels with fence base panels to adjust overall fence height. 

Q: What’s the standard size of a garden fence panel?

A: A standard garden fence panel is 6ft wide by 6ft high (1.83m x 1.83m). This size fits between standard timber or concrete posts and is easy to install.

Q: Can fence panels be higher than the posts?

A: No - the panels should sit level with or slightly below the tops of the posts. If you want a taller fence, choose taller posts so that they properly support the panels and keep the fence line strong.

Q: How much do fence panels cost?

A: Prices vary depending on the type of fence panel. As a rough guide:

• Lap panels start from around £19–£30 each.

• Feather edge panels prices start from about £30–£50 each.

• Decorative or slatted panels can be more expensive, depending on the style, typically upwards of £35 per panel.

Q: What’s the difference between lap panels and feather edge panels?

A: Lap panels have overlapping horizontal boards, which are good for privacy on a budget. Feather edge panels use vertical boards fixed to horizontal rails, which are generally stronger and better-suited to exposed or high-wind areas.
