Dryrods offer an alternative treatment for rising damp. Using the latest damp proofing technology, they are inserted into 12mm holes drilled along the mortar creating a damp-proof course. Once installed, they produce silicone-based active ingredients that spread along the mortar course to form a new damp-proof course (DPC). This barrier is really effective against the spread of damp and especially against rising-damp.
