The Hive V4 Combi OpenTherm Smart Thermostat is the ideal choice for the modern smart home. You can control all your heating needs in one app on your smart device or via voice control through Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, Alexa or Siri Shortcuts. Geolocation functionality allows you to receive notifications if you leave home with the heating on, saving money, while the built-in frost protection means your heating will automatically come on if the temperature drops below 7°C. For added ease of use, the V4 thermostat features a large dial for easy manual temperature adjustment and has a heating boost button.

This Smart Thermostat and Receiver is designed to work with an existing Hive Hub to create an additional heating zone in your home. This allows you to control the temperature in another part of your home (e.g., upstairs) independently, all from your smartphone. Heating each part of your home to its own required level can further increase energy efficiency and save money.

New to the V4 model is OpenTherm technology, which tells compatible combi boilers exactly how much heat is needed to reach and maintain the target temperature. This further improves comfort in the home and generates up to 12% extra energy savings.

For use with combi boilers. Compatible with most gas and LPG boilers, oil boilers if they have an existing thermostat or programmer, and electric boilers with standard room thermostat and/or programmer.
