Opened in March 2026, the newly renovated branch is located on the Meadowfield Industrial Estate off West Road in Ponteland opposite the Royal Mail building. With a long history of being a builders merchant the site was formerly Jewson and before that Matthew Charlton Builders Merchant.

Our new branch offers a comprehensive range of high-quality building materials for trade and DIY customers alike. We stock everything you need under one roof, including building materials, plumbing and heating supplies, timber, roofing, landscaping products, and an extensive bathrooms range. Customers can also explore our large bathroom showroom area, along with a dedicated kitchen display for added inspiration.

Michael and the team are on hand six days a week to make collecting your materials as easy as possible. We offer a reliable delivery service, click and collect, plenty of on-site parking, and even a coffee machine to keep you fuelled while you visit. Trade customers can also open a JT Atkinson trade account with a minimum of 30 days’ credit.
