The Manthorpe Felt Lap Vent provides a simple, effective solution to condensation in roof and loft spaces. The vents can be fitted quickly and easily by slotting them into the felt laps in every other rafter bay at a low level, as close to the eaves as possible. Felt Lap Vents should be fitted on each side of the roof to allow a cross flow of ventilation. Once installed, each vent increases the airflow by 3,000mm² per unit, greatly reducing condensation. Vents are fitted via three integral clips, which can be secured in place even if the felt is degraded.
If additional vents are required, they can be placed into the remaining felt laps at higher intervals in the same rafter spacing.
