K Rend Silicone FT Render incorporates silicone technology to create a water-repellent, self-coloured render with a low-maintenance textured finish. Perfect for hand application, it only requires adding water and mixing for 10 minutes. The high water-repellence reduces the amount of dirt on the surface, while the dry finish ensures better defence against algae growth and lime bloom.
Application instructions
- Mix thoroughly for at least 10 minutes to break down additives.
- Add 4-5 litres of clean water per 25kg sack. Apply by hawk and trowel 10-16mm, depending on background and number of coats. Obtain a flat finish by using long darbies or spatula.
- Do not polish.
- Small areas such as quoins and window reveals may be finished smooth.
