The barn paint is suitable for application on previously painted surfaces such as weathered bitumen, tar varnish, or creosote (providing there are no loose powdery deposits). Protective and highly durable with excellent colour retention. Multiple coats can be applied in one day for efficiency.

Suited to the protection of exterior buildings such as barns, stables, outbuildings, sheds, silos, windmills, and factory units (corrugated and metal box cladding).

For best results - surface preparation:

  • Ensure surfaces are clean dry and free from dirt
  • Remove all loose paint
  • Remove algae and fungal growths and treat with fungicidal wash
  • Smooth glossy surfaces should be lightly abraded
  • Weather pressure treated timber for six months before coating
  • New planed, finished wood or PSE wood should also be abraded
