MDF does not expand and contract as much as other timber products. This surface can later be finished with varnish or other oil/water based paints. MDF provides a superior holding for screws and fasteners. Sawing and sanding MDF is easy but working with this product can cause some dust to be created. Dust masks and eye protection can protect against this dust.
Suitable applications include: Architectural Mouldings, Cabinet Making, Furniture, General DIY, Paneling, Shelving & Bookcases, Shop Fittings, and Wardrobes.
