These Hessian Sandbags have a wide variety of uses, including a simple and cost-effective defence against flooding. Available in several pack sizes, they are made from environmentally friendly hessian and feature a ring tie cord to secure the bag at one end. In addition to flood and leak protection, they can be used to build embankments and to weigh down road signs, tarpaulins and garden furniture.
Each bag can be filled with approx. 25kg of sand and should be filled to roughly 2/3rds capacity for maximum protection.
