Herringbone Joist Struts provide stability to floor joists and significantly reduce labour compared with timber strutting or noggins. An alternative to timber strutting, these are a cost-effective method of providing vital lateral support and follow strict building regulations. To prevent sideways movement as well as twisting, the struts should be fixed to the floor joist above and below. Make sure that they are fitted with sheradised nails.
