JT Atkinson first took steps to diversify into the flood products market after receiving enquiries for products from local flood victims looking to protect their homes. Peter Lawson and Howard Braithwaite have built the department over the past five years and now have an impressive product portfolio including, door barriers, air vent covers, emergency sacks and plenty more solutions to protect your home from a flood. They have worked on many projects throughout Cumbria and the rest of England including Cockermouth and Appleby. These products are also displayed in an impressive showroom which is due to be re-developed at the branch on Ullswater Road in Penrith.
JT Atkinson have recognised the advice and support that the NFF provide to individuals and communities that have been flooded or are at the risk of flooding and it is with great pleasure that Edwin Atkinson (Managing Director)presents Charles Tucker (NFF Chairman) with a cheque for five thousand pounds. The NFF is a registered charity and therefore relies on support and donations to be able to sustain their work in communities across the country.
