We have a lot to celebrate recently, firstly the relocation of our branches in Appleby and Hawes to larger premises, secondly we are celebrating our 150th anniversary this Summer and finally the relocation of our Kirkby Stephen showroom this week!
The showroom which has been based at Market Street for over 50 years, closed its doors on Saturday 20th March and relocated less than half a mile down the road to our Hobson’s Lane builders merchant site.
The new showroom boasts over a dozen displays of bathrooms, kitchens cooker and stoves and is a positive move forward.
“This is exciting news and it will definitely benefit our customers by having both our showroom, and our builders merchant on one site.” Stated Alan Barr (Hobson’s Lane Branch Manager). “It means we are no longer split in two and our customers now have the advantage of a wider product offering under one roof, with the same friendly staff, instead of having to travel between the two stores.” He continued.
The Hobson’s Lane site is also more customer friendly with a large free car park, including disabled parking bays and access. The opening hours of the store will still be 7.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am – 1pm on Saturdays. To celebrate the opening of the showroom we will be opening on Good Friday from 8am – 2pm and will be welcoming all customers to come over and take a look!
